  6. Gary says:

BlackBerry Sync ran tests that show that your BlackBerry solution actually does not catch any Malware whatsoever http://tinyurl.com/y5l33wu . I can understand it’s in BETA, but that seems like a big problem on this new functionality and certainly something that should have been caught prior to release. What is the timeframe expected to fix this problem?

  7. jenny says:

Gary, we appreciate your feedback. We have published an update to our Blackberry app and you can download the updated version by going to http://mylookout.com/m/blackberry from your mobile web browser. 14. Joel says:

What version of OS for bberry is required. I have a model 8830 and OS 4.2. Tried to dowload LO and got messages that

“LO is not available for your bbery model”

    AND

“LO is not available for the version of the OS you’re running.”

    Current available upgrade is 4.5

Since upgrading is a pain, would like to know that the 8830 model with OS 4.5 is supported. Surprised, but couldn’t find what is supported on your website.

    Help please

    Joel

  15. Brian says:

@Joel – Lookout does not run on 8830 devices. Your model and Blackberry pearls are the only ones we don’t run on.

I will update our FAQ to ensure this information is placed there to help avoid confusion in the future.
